Northern Tier Stars Goalie Abby Thurmer signed commitment with Iowa State.

Northern Tier Stars Goalie Abby Thurmer who signed her commitment to play hockey at Iowa State. The Cyclones are getting a great goalie who surpassed 1000 varsity saves this year and a 93% saves percentage. She earned Mississippi 8 Conference Goalie of the Year, 1st Team All Conference, All Conference, and Team MVP. Abby, or “Thurminator,” was the bedrock of our team and her calm, quiet, and confident style kept our team at ease, knowing that Abby had their back. On hand celebrating with Abby and the other athletes were her parents, sisters Tori “Lil Thurminator and Alex “Lil’ Tornado”, parents and grandparents. Congratulations Abby!!
